12/1/2022 0 Comments Huion gt 190 reviews![]() ![]() It doesn't affect your drawing experience, but it does look ugly. Also, the Huion has a bit of a paper-like texture on it's drawing surface (I like that, but it makes drawing rather noisy too), which scratches easily. They are cheap though, so replacing them is not a problem. I had to replace them often, while I almost never had to do that for the Wacom. The tablet feels flimsier, but it does the job well. That being said, Huion clearly is of a lower quality. I liked working with it, and the fact that left-handed people can use it too without messing up with the hotkeys (seriously, you have no idea how annoying that can be!). I guess they have learned form this problem and the one I have now is much sturdier and I haven't encountered any problems with it. Customer service was really kind though, and gave me a new tablet. So hello Huion! It two big flaws though the USB jack broke and the pen nib fell out of the pen all the time. Comparable Wacoms were thrice as expensive, and I found that rather ridiculous. I bought a Huion because I could get a big tablet for a small price. Wacoms are expensive, but they will last for a long time. Maybe not a very fair comparison though, due to the tablets' differences in age and size.Īnyway, the reason I had to replace the Wacom was because the upper part of the drawing area stopped working (you know, exactly the area where the little red 'X' is to close programs when you work with a full screen window, how convenient.) The thing was 7 years old though, so it didn't surprise me. I had a Huion h610 pro, and before that a Wacom Bamboo, so I know both brands. Now I'm considering a cintiq, but It's too expensive for now. My second tablet, the Intuos 4, was almost 400 euros, but is much bigger and precise, and I'm still using it after 6 years. So better buy a cheap one and if you keep using it regularly, then consider buying a better one! Thats what I did, I bought the wacom graphire as a bundle with manga studio and corel painter for 70 euros and used it sbout 5 years. If it's your first tablet anything will go, as you must get used to it. That said, if you want a huion, you know people that use them and are happy, then go for it. All of my digital artist friends use wacom and are happy with their intuos and cintiqs! Wacom is a safe buy! I had two, first one was a graphire (discontinued now) and only changed it because I wanted a bigger one, but still works after so many years! The second one was an Intous 4 and works perfectly after years of daily use, didn't even had to buy a new tip for the pen, as it came with 10 tips of 4 diferents kinds. Thanks for reading! Awaiting your replies. I've been using Sketchbook Express, Autodesk Sketchbook and Artrage like, Art Flow, Art Rage on the previous tablet and Krita and Paint Tool sai on PC. :3Īlso, any good drawing programmes for drawing and a different one for 2D animation? Both free and paid? So, I wanted to ask you artists for advice. But the reviews section had many negative reviews. ![]() ![]() But then I wondered if Huion tablet will be a better choice. I'm considering about buying Wacom Intuos Comic. I want to get a drawing tablet now(The previous one wasn't meant for drawing. I'm a little above the amateur stage I'd say. I have been drawing digitally for 3 years now. I am at an intermediary stage, according to me. I've been drawing traditionally ever since I was young. I'm not sure if this question is already asked, but I think my case will differ. ![]()
